Yep, I’m a retired Navy Diver ‘55-’77. During my career I’ve met and served with a great deal of Marines, at various duty stations. Proud to have served with them.
I agree, each branch must have their own place in the military community. I have to admit, politics is the main drawback and stumbling block. Kick the politicians out of the military and every difficulty should settle out. If a politician must have his/her individual recognition, then as well should the military. More so!
