R. Lee Ermey Takes D.C. By Storm With Our Cause!
R. Lee Ermey and the Marine Corps League held a successful press conference and rally Feb. 25 in Washington D.C. Hundreds of attendees came to support the Marine Corps Identity Cause which supports legislation in the Congress to change the name of the Department of the Navy to the Department of the Navy and Marine Corps. Other speakers included Congressman Walter Jones, Senator Pat Roberts, General Anthony Zinni, General Alfred Gray, Sgt. Eddie Wright, Dick Linn, Tracy Della Vecchia, and Michael Blum.

I want to thank the man or women who’s idea it was for this. I served in Iraq in 2003 and 2005 with the MOS 9051 Mortary Affairs. I want to say first hand that this long over due. My job was to try to give a possible idication and send the sevice members home to there loved ones. I never got to meet or give my condonance to any of the loved ones, or express my gratude for there followen heroes. In this war as well as all the other wars thousands of military heroes as parished, given up there live to protect the blanket of freedom in which we all live under. I belive that this is long over due and it is congress job to pass this bill. This bill is one more step for the in the closer process of the loved ones.

If this were to pass would the Marine Corps get more funding? They have the longest boot camp and get the least amount of funding.
ITS ABOUT TIME WE HAVE PUT UP WITH A LOT OF B.S. JUST BECAUSE WE HAVE BEEN HOOKED TO THE NAVY WE DO HAVE OUR OWN PEOPLE AN THEY ARE NOT CALLED SQUIDS THANKS FOR SQUARING THIS AWAY.

You know I think those people in Washington need to concentrate on getting our service men and women home more than they do. There is a time and place for everything, but those fools are too busy fighting each other for this crazy healthcare instead of worrying about more important things.
I will continue to stand behind all of our service men and women until they are home safely. God bless them all.
